Creepy Pasta With Cheese: Buddha Remains Found Where?
Recently, news broke that a small box found in a small town possessed the remains of Buddha himself. It was found in Jinchuan and said to have been connected to the fact that when a monk passes on, they leave behind a compound that no regular human can produce. This compound is called Sarīra which are pearl like objects found in their ashes after cremation. Apparently, this was said to have been produced by a monk’s energy source which was identified as being powerful. (source)
So, Buddha also possessed Sarira and surprisingly this is not the first find after a skull bone turned up in 2016 that was said to belong to him as well.
Some time back there was even confirmation that one of the many statues crafted after Buddha had an entire body inside of it. Somehow X rays allowed for this find showing skeletal like features inside of the large statue. History says that he passed on in 483 BC but this specific burial with the box was taken place in the year 1013. It took two monks 20 years to gather fragments of Sarira that was connected to Buddha before they found this area.
Now before you get all jealous about a monk’s power swag lets note something fascinating here.
It is obvious that the average person’s lifestyle as far as eating, and health will differ from that of a monk. My theory is that this could play a big part in why they can produce a chemical compound that we cannot. It has been said that a monk’s objective is to reach ultimate enlightenment. Some cases have shown that they would even risk their lives by meditating to the point where they never wake. But the craziest part about that is that there have been some found to have never died no matter how long they have been in that state.
There was a monk found frozen in ice not so long ago and after careful observation it was said that he was still alive. Currently, he has been put on display for tourist to see with some even claiming they have witnessed movement. My guess is that maybe they should have eaten a little breakfast after making a run at the bar the previous night. But apparently it does not stop the theories from racking up even if some may say it is all just a hoax.
Of course, it would be the archaeologist’s word against theirs buuuut, who is to say?
Still, it is the hardest evidence for those who chose to believe everything they see with their eyes.
As far as legend goes the ultimate enlightenment thing has been achieved before. With a story revealing that the body of a monk produced a rainbow after his passing. You cannot top that in terms of having a beautiful soul and if science has revealed that they can raise and lower their body heat at will. Then who is to argue whether this is possible or not?
I am sure not training in any special way that doesn’t get me to the grocery store any faster, are you?
