Venus is a very powerful planet in our solar system and it has played an incredibly important role in our evolution as a species.
There are many fascinating mysteries of our planet Venus. It is a complex planet and much more difficult to study than we think. Yet, recent developments in astronomical technology have now brought about many new mysteries for us to study. Some of these mysteries have been solved already, but there are still plenty of mysteries waiting to be solved.
We have been aware of Venus’ global temperature for years.
However, it was not until July 2021 that experts were able to confirm that this temperature variation across the planet is indeed present. Using special instruments on the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Mars Express, scientists were able to measure the temperature at different locations on Venus. They were surprised to find that the temperature variations appear quite natural.
The study has been published in the journal Nature.
