While many astronomers time and again detect strange new phenomena appearing from the inner solar system, the group of Australian researchers have remained relatively unconvinced of their latest finding. The research, which was published in Nature on 5 July, did not set the world on fire. However, the excitement generated by the prospect of a Planet X, which could potentially be a bigger and more important player in our Astronomy than Earth, has been considerable.

The discovery of mysterious radio waves coming from the center of the Milky Way has excited people since almost a century. The elusive signals have been puzzling scientists for decades, as they continue to follow their every trail. However, there is more to the mystery than meets the eye. There are several theories that explain how these waves came to be. All theories point to a large space at the very core of the Milky Way. But if you have your own theories and would like to discuss them, feel free to do so in the comment section below.
